Do you sell wholesale?

Yes, we do sell wholesale to bead stores, galleries, and designers.  Please see our Wholesale info page for more details

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders will be shipped within 2-3 weeks of receiving it. If it will take longer because it is a big order or we are out of stock, we will contact you by phone or e-mail with an estimated date. Most beads are made to order or are customized to your specific needs, so one to two firings are required for each order. Please remember that each bead in this catalog is made by hand by only one person and we can't easily accept rush orders.

Can I come visit your studio/store?

Sorry, we do not have a storefront or a open studio. We value our home as our private space, and do not allow customers to visit. You can see us at one of the many shows where we sell, though. Check out the blog for show dates and locations

How do I choose for my store/business?

Designers and bead stores, we would be happy to create a custom assortment of best selling styles and colors for your business! Just send us an email, and we can discuss your particular bead needs!

Can I still order beads from the old catalog?

We have discontinued some beads from the old catalog and web site, so we won't be making them in quantity anymore, but these items can be made by special order, it just may take a week or so longer.

Please note that this web site catalog now supersedes any old catalog pricing and prices are subject to change without notice.

Do you have a printed catalog?

Sorry, we are not planning a print catalog at this time. This web site is the only catalog.

What is your return policy?

Return inquiries must be made within 30 days from time of receipt and require approval. Mistakes made by Earthenwood Studio will be corrected at no charge. Because of the handcrafted nature of our items, most shipments are considered custom orders and may vary from batch to batch. Please contract us right away if you are unhappy with your order, and all reasonable efforts will be made to correct the situation.

What does this glaze look like in reality?

We understand that it is sometimes hard to visualize a color, especially one that is on a monitor, which could change from reality. If you would like a sample of any of our 35 bead glazes, you can order one. Samples are $2 each including shipping. Allow 2-3 weeks for shipment. Please email for more details. Sorry, samples of the tiles and ornaments are not available

What is your privacy policy?

We hate spam and junk mail as much as you do, and we also value our privacy. We will not sell, rent, or give your personal information to any other party.  We may to add your email to our occasional newsletter mailing list if you have contacted Earthenwood Studio or made a purchase from us. You may opt out of the newsletter mailing list at any time by contacting us or choosing to unsubscribe through newsletter.  Any phone or mail order information is done in-house by us directly, and we take great care with your private information.

Are porcelain beads fragile? How are they made?

Our porcelain beads, charms, and buttons are fired to high temperatures, which make them very strong, similar to glass. They are very unlikely to chip and break with normal use. We travel all around with my beads and wear them all the time, and they are very sturdy, even for clumsy folks like us! That being said, we must add:

WARNINGS
Theses products are made of fired ceramic, which is a combination of clay and glass. Any materials made of ceramic can break, if the objects are impacted, breakage could occur, and result in injury. If, in any case, breakage does occur, please be aware that broken edges are sharp, and could be a cause of cut injuries, and take appropriate care accordingly. If you discover a crack or other defect during use, or when the item has been used to a degree where it has deteriorated, then discontinue use!

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD -Small Parts. Not for Children Under 6 yrs. Please watch children and pets around small objects such as beads, as they can be swallowed.
